Lilburn Little Stars Preschool Co-op was formed to meet a need amongst my friends and neighbors who have children that aren't quite old enough for pre-k but are constantly asking the why and how. This thirst for knowledge created an opportunity for me to pull together local resources and create a framework for the mothers and children to participate in a learning environment with those they know and trust. As a Preschool Co-op we don't charge, but contribute our time and talents. Our mission is to create a safe learning environment where children can learn and grow through working together, sharing, and problem solving. We use the Teach Me Mommy Curriculum for our daily lesson plans. Weekly the students meet in the family's home that class is taking place for the week, so a physical location outside of our home isn't necessary. It is an exciting time and opportunity for us to bring out children together and help them help each other as well as provide a challenge for them.
